In 2012 RVT’s income will be secured by continuing to diversify its income streams and accessing funding from a number of sources including:
Individual committed giving:
We want to encourage local people to support our work. We have started this process and a small number of individuals are now supporting us through regular, committee gift aided donations.
Public funding:
We will seek opportunities for financial support by emphasising any commonality of our aims and objectives, the priorities of public sector organisations and fora, includingthe Local Strategic Partnerships, Local Criminal Justice Boards, Police forces, Coroners’ and Magistrates’ Court Services, councils and Primary Care Trusts.
Corporate Sponsorship:
We have had some initial success with securing support from local companies and we intend to increase sponsorship from the wider commercial sector. Opportunities exist for companies to support the RVT in a number of ways, including both financial and in-kind support. We continue to develop our web-site and offer supporters the opportunity to have links to and from it.
Grant-making trusts and foundations and local groups:
We continue to pursue all available sources of funding from local, regional and national grant making trusts and foundations.
We will also be forging close working relationships with local bodies which support charitable works.
Events:
The RVT has had some success in raising money from events, such as our well established annual concert, this lucrative area of fundraising will be substantially developed. During the coming year we will be involved in:-
Golf Event, Mentmore Golf & Country Club
Bedfordshire Clanger Charity Car Rally
Clay Shoot
Charlotte Bettle Concert
Rotaract Quiz
